Frank Ritter helped start the College of Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State, and is affiliated with the psychology, computer science and engineering departments. He also helped start the International Conference on Cognitive Modeling and the tutorial series at the Cognitive Science Conference. He was a Fulbright Scholar at the Technische Universität Chemnitz in 2005. Josef Nerb is Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Education in Freiburg, Germany, where he also serves as a Vice Dean for teaching and learning. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Freiburg and did a post-doc at the University of Waterloo, Canada, supported by an Alexander von Humboldt Foundation fellowship. Erno Lehtinen is Vice rector and former Dean of the School of Education at Turku University, where he is a professor of education. He is a past president of the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI). Tim O'Shea is the Principal (President) of the University of Edinburgh. Previously he was Master of Birkbeck College, and professor of information technology and education at the Open University.

I've purchased all volumes up to 22 and the TV show has just about caught up to wear I am in the novels. These books are friggen awesome. I don't read much and my buddy lent me VOL 1 after he knew I liked the show. Well, I burned through the first one and then just went on a tear buying 4 volumes at a time...the price is pretty good for what you get out of these. $9-$15 is the range I've paid per novel, I'm not sure why they aren't the same but anyways, I keep buying them none the less. The story was written before the TV Show and the show follows the story but there is some differences. The written story is more violent and graphic then the tv show but the tv show does a decent job of sticking with main ideas. I've noticed that certain plot things that happen in the book also happen in the show but there is a unique twist like a different character it happens to or something like that. Which makes reading these volumes great cuz I have some idea of where the story is going (after having watched all tv episodes) but there are still surprises. If you like the TV show and haven't read these, give it a try and you will get a whole new experience of the Walking Dead story. I'm putting this same review under every volume I've purchased (1-22) so people can see it. go buy these!

I think it is at those times that Rick, and TWD, are at their very best.I felt the last volume was a bit draggy in spots, and while this one has its lulls as well, the story picks up the pace once again, especially near the end, with promises of interesting things to come in volume 14.

Book 13 of the series doesn't disappoint. The writing remains solid despite this volume being somewhat less action packed (which means a lot more falls on Kirkman's writing). His previous style shows through as the action starts to escalate around Rick's new home near Washington D.C., but don't worry you'll still be good and surprised at moments. The threat builds from inside and outside the city with mini-episodic-climaxes (as the individual issues each try to end with some form of climax or cliffhanger).Overall, this was a solid book which focuses on certain characters starting to show cracks after being in this new zombie infested world for almost two years, story world time. The series has always been character driven and since they are "safe" in their new homes this volume really zooms in on a couple characters (some of the old group and some new townies) to show the difference between the ones who have been safe and the old group that has been on the road for over 18 months before finding a haven.Read it, and wait for 14...

The members of Rick's group settle into their new roles in the Alexandria Safe-Zone, and Rick, as constable, tries to make the place safer by stopping a dangerous man inside the community. But, could Rick and his battle-scarred compatriots be too far gone to live a peaceful life again?

Great condition, my mom loved it!

I purchase these as reward for my son passing his reading quizzes. He reads them in no time as soon as he gets them. Was wonderful up to vol 16 where I could download them directly to my kindle. Now vol 17 on up will not download to my first generation kindle, so I have to buy the paperback ones. Does not make me a very happy camper.

This is a good story arch and shows Rick and the rest of the Atlanta survivors' struggle to return to civilized life. Great read.

Really good read. I would recommend a bit of background understanding on how soccer clubs work outside the United States, before taking on this book. Primarily, the reader should have a basic understanding of promotion and relegation, the transfer market, and how the leagues of Europe are connected. European soccer history is not needed to make the book enjoyable but can add a deeper understanding. Overall, a very insightful and fun read.

For some reason this material is hard to digest even though it's written in English. I wish we had another textbook for my International Business class. I must say this book is cheaper than most textbooks, but it doesn't save me time as I find myself re-reading paragraphs over and over to understand the concepts. If the phrase "time is money" is true, then I would rather pay more for a book that's written in layman's terms. Also, this book defends outsourcing to other countries, which is another subject all together. I gave it 2 stars because the book is economical; otherwise, one star.I'm adding another star because each chapter shares a story of a person (usually a student) who studied and/or worked abroad. The students share their experiences, perspectives, and give sound advice. As a person thinking about studying abroad, I value that input. The (small) investment alone is worth it.

The book is simple, good format, and easy to understand. It did exactly its job as a textbook teaching about international business.There are a lot of information provided in the book, and yet it was very organized / structured for students to learn the information. If I could change one thing about this textbook, it would have to be the size of this book a bit too big to carry around and read. An ebook or Kindle version would be perfect1

It covers basically all the questions that you can think of regarding International Business. I would recommend this book to anyone that is in International Business, anyone that has to communicate with people outside of their region.
