Not your usual technical welding book. Shawn shares his knowledge and opinions gained from years of experience Tig welding, in effect saying - “I’ve found this works for me, give it a tryâ€. He doesn’t say there is only one way to do something, just things he’s found successful over the years by trial and error. It’s a chatty sort of book, sprinkled with personal stories of his welding experiences. I think that even a welder who had studied at a technical college would get valuable things out of this book that weren’t taught in college.
Good quick read with many good suggestions for general tig welding. Would like to see some pictures or diagrams of tig torch and equipment when describing operation but written descriptions were adequate.
This book is just like "Everything you NEED to Know About TIG Welding", Do Not Buy Both books.
Very useful and practical. I highly recommend it. The author covers the details that are important to good results on common metals.
Meh at best, a few insightful tips, mostly basic beginner stuff.
